Log No 111. Sun 25th Aug 2013 - Planned break (1724 miles walked)

I felt that I really needed to give my ankles a rest this break and consequently did very little walking.

My other objective was to put some weight back on, when I got home I weighed myself and found I was down to 59.5Kg (62.5 when I started).

Over the 10 days I managed to get back up to 61.6Kg so we'll see how long that lasts.

It was another early start for traveling back, it had been a late night last night, having been out for a meal with friends, and I hadn't got my rucsac packed so I was up at 06.00.

I didn't think I had put as much food in this time but the rucsac still weighed 20Kg.

I was tired on the journey down but couldn't really sleep on either the ferry or the two buses and when I got into Ft William at 17.00 I had a headache and sore neck and didn't feel like having anything to eat.

My intention had been to camp in Ft William but as the campsite was 2 miles in the wrong direction I decided to start walking towards Oban and camp by the road somewhere, hopefully walking off my headache.

It was 2 hours before I found somewhere secluded enough and as my headache hadn't cleared up I went straight into my sleeping bag.
