Log No 205. Fri 13th Dec 2013 - Llanbedrog to Pwllheli, 4 miles (3162 miles walked)

These early starts are taking it out of me, there's no problem with the walking, it's keeping awake after 9 o'clock.

I didn't have the energy to start the log last night so when I heard the birds this morning at 04.30 I did it then and promptly fell back asleep until 08.30, I can't remember sleeping that late before.

Fortunately I was only having a short day today - just 4 miles to Pwllheli.

It was still raining when I eventually got going at 10.40 getting down to the beach at Llanbedrog.

At the end of the beach I got up onto the top of the small slopes and followed the path into Pwllheli.

It hardly seemed worth the effort of putting my waterproofs on and off but I didn't want to take a whole day off when I'll be heading home for xmas on Wednesday.

I think the forecast is for more rain tomorrow but it is still very mild.
